Dean Dennis Shepperd Cons Again

April 15, 2009

We recently received yet another complaint about this sick predator (insert below) who is clearly still out to con and take what ever he can get his filthy hands on.  Please be warned this con man Shepperd is only after your money to fund his keep.  He will romance you,  lie to you, try to get you into bed, that seals the deal with this predator, then he will weazel his way into your bank account.  Thank-you to another victim for coming forward,  your word counts and is very much appreciated.  Please take care of yourself.

“Dean wooed me for a while by phone…said he was working in a bank at the time but was setting up a film co and wanted to be a director..which seemed a bit strange at his age….i unfortunately feel for him and slept with him …then after a while he said he had too much in his head and suffered from blue days…he suggested i invest in his film company…it ended v strangely and he said he was going back to southampton…i was shocked to see this and hope this helps other women not to fall for his looks.charm and wit….”

When you read the profiles on Dean Shepperd listed below,  do not buy into any of it,  it is all lies on his part, a false charade of this aging lothario to con you out of what belongs to you.  He builds up his deflating ego by tearing you down. He will only use you until he gets what he wants.

Linkedin – Profile – Recently deleted by Dean as was his original Myspace trap, wonders why?

Dean Shepperd is an emotional vampire, con man, liar & serial player,  he should never be trusted and should always be avoided. Beware of his need to project and shift-blame onto his former victims. Shepperd will lie, stating an “obsessed ex girlfriend” is the reason why this information is out there. He is lying, as you can observe by the comments having already been made on this site. Hence his overwhelming need to keep editing and deleting, yet again re-inventing his entire life history.

Below yet another victim of Shepperd’s comes forward and makes a statement:

Dean has yet again reinvented himself, now well into his 50′s, he is now going by his full name ‘Dean Dennis Shepperd’.
He has obviously failed in his attempt at trying to be a film director to con and is now re-labeling himself as a “self taught Photographer, Expressionist Artist & Writer”. We have heard it all before Dean.

Watch out for a long over-due book (he bragged on about the same book well over a decade ago to former targets) of his “love poetry” titled “The Passion”. He has used this type of poetry to con women in the past online, as those of you who have already been duped by this conman are all well aware.

Also find enclosed a copy of his new lengthy lines of lure, notice the similarity to his former blurb about being an oh “so passionate” about his craft as a film director. Go to http://cyberpaths.blogspot.com/ to read more about him and his type, very educational. Also be wary when he labels you all as “an obsessed ex- girlfriend” … typical knee-jerk behavior of a predator once he has been caught out and exposed:

(Typical shoring up his belief system by using people who are in a vulnerable position to make himself look like a decent person …. He is far from decent). Like all predators he has an agenda to take you for all he can get.

“If artists were defined by their work, then Dublin resident Dean Dennis Shepperd, who recently returned to his love of Expressionism, may be increasingly defined for living the passion for his art, if not for being a spiritual and highly individualistic artist.

Originally a self-taught photographer since a very young age – when he was just four, his mother passed him her beloved Halina 35mm camera so he could ‘have a go’ with it during the village carnival – and having since covered (as an adult) everything from Drag Racing to Rock concerts and from stark black & white portraiture to candid photography, Dean has been a long time admirer of photographers Bob Carlos-Clarke, Terence Donovan and ‘Bailey’, and has developed a lasting love of the work of artists Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Swiss artist/sculptor Tinguely and artist/photographer David Hockney, as well as writers Samuel Beckett and Harold Pinter.

Dean’s first embrace with Expressionism was a faltering affair. Having spent his formative years following his love of all things photographic (with some experimentation and as many failures, and triumphs, in equal abandon), his life at secondary school began, rather ominously perhaps, with the Art Studio for a form room. However, art classes themselves were a frustration and for Dean it was the classic ‘bowl of fruit’ scenario that cast his ‘later to come’ affair with the abstract so carelessly aside. Having a free-spirited imagination, he struggled to conform and had he thought to question the reasoning behind these classical teaching methods, it would not have made much difference. He simply felt restricted and in an environment where “Why?” was generally answered with “Because”, where no explanations were made and no understanding was taken, he quickly became bored.

It wasn’t until at the age of sixteen and his last months at school, when Dean finally broke free of convention and started drawing with only his imagination as a rulebook. A love of the abstract, or more finely put, of Expressionism, was born. It may be considered as some loss to the fact that it would be many years before he would pick up a paintbrush again, yet another thing entirely that he would quickly learn to discard it as well (more of that later). In the meantime, came three years in Film School studying film direction and screen-writing, a time during which he also began writing poetry. With around sixty poems to his name, Dean is currently compiling a book of love poetry, entitled ‘The Passion’.

Dean paints in acrylics mostly, though glass paints are occasionally used, on large canvases (one of his current projects is 2mイ, though they vary in size up from 40cmイ). Some of the acrylic work is very thick in texture, dependent on his use of brushes, or “anything useful I can get my hands on, be it a spoon, knife or even a drum stick…” to his hands themselves. In fact it was this use of his own body as a tool that became manifest in the creation of his own style. He says, “There is no feeling that brings you more literally in touch with the canvas than painting with your hands. When I started painting ‘Waves of Narcissus’ I felt that brushes would inhibit the flow of the work and just had to put them away.” Adding, “I still use brushes, but when I paint with my hands, I feel completely connected to the canvas in a way that is so far removed from using a brush. It is a deeply spiritual experience in some ways and as many of my paintings are reflections on my emotions, on how I feel, it makes the resulting work more honest… real… passionate.”

Dean has recently finished seven small canvases, which will be his own contribution, after being invited to take part in the upcoming Art Dublin show, which is to be held at BT2 in aid of the charity Aware. The seven canvases are a cross-section of Expressionism from the abstract ‘A Senses Provocative’ (a personal homage to Jackson Pollock) to the wild blood red of the Pop Art themed ‘Passion’ and the second series of three paintings entitled ‘Birth, Love & Death’ (the first series being heavily influenced by the passing of his father Dennis after a short yet futile battle with cancer in January this year). “I miss my father terribly and will regret for the rest of my life something that I didn’t realise at the time, that on New Year’s Day, when I saw him alive for the very last time (he passed away on 6th January while Dean was waiting to board a flight home to see him), Dad probably knew he would never see me again. Everything I do creatively is in tribute to him. And as corny as it probably sounds to some… he was and always will be my true hero”.

Dean is currently working on his first solo exhibition.

    … Un-Quote.

NB: The art work is nothing to write home about, very slap-dash, also note worthy are some of the titles he uses for his work. Explains a lot of what makes Dean tick so to speak.

His art work looks like something your average child or well trained cat could produce.
Or nothing a little Googling the real Impressionists, poaching idea’s off would not fix eh Dean?

    All the best.
    Cathy
